A fuller book. Less front-desk chaos.
Empty slots on a Tuesday, a front desk fielding calls it shouldn't have to, no-shows eating the schedule, and marketing you can't be sure is allowed. I work with practice owners and managers on all four, and I know the AHPRA advertising rules you have to work inside.
What practice owners tell me
- The book has holes in it and nobody notices until the day.A cancellation at 2pm stays an empty hour, because filling it is somebody's fourth priority.
- The front desk is drowning.Phones, arrivals, rebooking, reminders and paperwork, all at once, all manual.
- No-shows you've stopped counting.Reminders go out when someone remembers to send them, which is not a system.
- Your Google listing is years out of date.Wrong hours, no services listed, and the practice two suburbs over is above you.
- You've been told different things about what you're allowed to advertise. So the safest option has been to do very little, which costs you patients.
If you're a regulated health practice, your advertising has to work inside AHPRA's rules. That means no patient testimonials, no claims you can't support, and care with anything that could be read as a clinical outcome. Plenty of agencies either ignore this or get it wrong, and it's the practice that carries the consequence, not the agency.
I write and build your marketing to sit inside those rules, and I'll tell you plainly when something you've been offered elsewhere would put you outside them. I'm not a lawyer and I don't give legal advice: where something is genuinely borderline, I'll say so and we check it rather than guess.
Get found by local patients
Most people looking for a practice search, compare two or three, and book the easiest one. That decision happens before they ever speak to you.
- Google Business Profile, accurate and complete
- Local search for your suburbs and services
- Website pages per service, written AHPRA-aware
- Ads only where they make sense
Fill the book
Online booking that works on a phone, reminders that go out on their own, and a cancellation that gets offered to someone else instead of sitting empty.
- Online booking and new-patient forms
- Automatic reminders to cut no-shows
- Cancellations offered to a waitlist
- Recalls and follow-ups that run themselves
Run smoother
The front desk should be looking after the person in front of them, not retyping the same details into three systems. I take that work off them.
- Practice management and systems that connect
- Automating the repetitive admin
- Cutting tools you pay for and don't use
- Choosing the right system, once
